Insect Detection Dogs Selects Submerce
In 2007 Shay Cook and Caroline Upton recognized a need in the agricultural community for more effective insect infestation detection methods. Combining Shay's scientific background with Caroline's experience as a third generation vineyard owner, they created Insect Detection Dogs. The Vine Mealybug was chosen as the first target because it is so difficult to detect early on using traditional methods. Their current focus is on working with growers and the Agricultural Commissioner’s Office to minimize the impact of the Vine Mealybug on vineyards by detecting the pests earlier and more precisely than previously possible. This will help reduce remediation costs, both organic and non-organic, while combating the spread of the Vine Mealybug.
Submerce will offer IDD an easy interface for content management. To schedule a demo of Submerce today, please call us at 888-963-3006. You can visit the Insect Detection Dog’s website by going to www.iddogs.com

Submerce Readies Update to Wine Club Management Software With New Reports and Tools to Boost Sales and Streamline Order Fulfillment
Submerce is known for setting the benchmark for eBusiness solutions announced today that they are ready to release an update to their already industry-leading Wine Club Management Software. New tools such as Wine Club Rewards programs and 50+ more reports to their already 400 available, Submerce’s update to their Wine Club Management takes managing multiple wine clubs and providing exclusive benefits to a new level.
“To this day, our tools continue to be copied by our competition which only tells us that our teams of industry experts design and build the tools that the wine club managers need today not yesterday,” says Jonathan Elliman, Director of Product Development for Submerce. “While others occasionally update their tools every year or so, the team at Submerce is hard at work at staying ahead of what the industry needs,” he says. “We’re looking out the windshield when it comes to software development by working with the industry’s top wine club and sales managers while other companies are limited by their programming resources and fixing software that just plain doesn’t work”, continues Elliman. “Our philosophy is never to release software until it’s been thoroughly tested in-house on tens of thousands of transactions so when our customers need it, Submerce provides results, not headaches. Our support teams are readily available and there’s never a wait to talk to someone when assistance is needed.”
In addition to the new reports are new migration tools that will help bring over legacy data into Submerce from other eCommerce and POS providers such as MicroWorks, Inertia Beverage, eWinery Solutions and Nexternal. The updated tools will import information with regards to customer order history, customer account status, past shipments information and detailed customer account information to offer a seamless transition when your company needs a more scalable and robust solution.
