Submerce Continues to Push eBusiness Envelope

With one of the largest development teams in the industry, Submerce continues to lead a progressive development schedule that not only helps Submerce maintain the lead with regards to delivering an innovative and an error-free application, but also one that sets the industry standard when it comes to usability.

"Many of our current customers enjoy how quickly we develop new tools and features while continuing to find new ways to improve the existing ones", says Jonathan Elliman, CTO for Submerce. "There's no doubt that many of our standard features at some point end up in our competitor's product offering months after we announcement them and we take that as a compliment", continues Elliman. "While developing our CellarPass reservation management solution, we started completely from ground zero which takes a lot of work, but also allows us to play with new technologies that would be too time-consuming to test out in the Submerce platform. By testing these out, determining the best use, we are now incorporating those into the next release of Submerce allowing both CellarPass users and Submerce users to benefit equally", says Jonathan. "As we get closer to release, we'll be announcing some of those features as we want to keep those under wraps until they are completely done and our beta testing has been completed."

Submerce is currently readying the next release for late January 2010 which will include new features and improvements. One of those will be the addition of an Allocation and Offer Manager module, Purchase Order Manager module, a brand new Warehouse and Shipping Manager and much more. "With Navision being a popular accounting system in the wine industry, we're very happy to release this module on top of what we already have available such as QuickBooks, SAP, JDE and others", says Jonathan Elliman, founder of Submerce. "We have several other systems that we are looking at to support and will be releasing that news in Q1 2010", continues Elliman.

If your company uses Navision and would like to streamline and boost the accuracy of your accounting practices, we suggest that you schedule a demo of how Submerce can help you achieve that.

Submerce's CellarPass Nears Beta Release

After nearly 3 years of development, Submerce is wrapping up the final development and testing stages of the beta release of their CellarPass Reservation and Event Management Solution. These final stages are critical to ensure that not only is the system ready for public use, but also readies the next round of development which will take the system to the next level.

"We know that there are many competing services to CellarPass and our goal is to no be just another reservation system", says Tim Campbell, Director of Sales and Marketing for CellarPass. "We believe we have developed not only a better reservation system designed for the wine industry, but also tools that will help draw new consumers to wineries by building a wine country destination website", says Campbell. "The CellarPass website will become a place where wine consumers will frequent as a website that will help them discover wineries that match their wine profile or tour type."
